In a border region of Armenia, two women from Armenia and the diaspora are facing a blockade, which they fight with traditional dances and songs.
My work has involved traveling and interviewing Armenians around the world about the resistance to Armenian cultural heritage. These interviews helped me to write a play. The play weaves together stories of family history, language, and ethnicity. 🇦🇲
The play is in English and has some parts in Armenian, with subtitles in Armenian and Spanish.
